Person-Centered Therapy

Pioneered by Carl Rogers, you may have heard of Person-Centred Therapy with a different name: Client-Centred Therapy, Rogerian Therapy, or even Humanistic Therapy. However, at its core, person-centred therapy is a non-directive approach, meaning that the client is the one who determines the course of therapy, and that the relationship with the therapist is an incredibly critical part of therapy.

With person-centred therapy, our therapists offer unconditional positive regard, a belief in your inherent ability for positive growth, and the capacity for healing. In sessions, you can expect our therapists to be warm, genuine, and unrelentingly empathic. No matter where you are at and what you bring, our therapists remain real and accepting.

Person-centered therapy has been shown to help improve self-esteem, increase self-awareness, manage emotions, develop confidence, and make decisions. With our clinic, we provide a safe space for all clients to feel understood, accepted, and valued, so you can see lasting change in your life.
